He took me to my favourite winery for lunch, Chandon then we stayed in 1 of 5 secluded villas in what seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. The view of neverending trees from our balcony was just stunning! I walked in first to lights dimmed, rose petals everywhere, soft music playing... after all the distractions I turn around and there he is at the door, on one knee, biggest smile on his face, holding this amazing ring.. of course I said yes to the man of my dreams.
After an amazing night dining at Rockpool in the city for our 2 year anniversary, he "decided" that we should take a stroll at Macquarie's Chair. We're just admiring the gorgeous scenery. "Turn around let me take a picture of you in front of the harbour" he says. So I'm standing there posing with my back to him, while he's silently rounded up a crowd and gotten down on one knee to propose with a bouquet of 99 red roses in his hand. Thinking all the suprises were over he took me home and I walked in to see my bed covered in the most gorgeous roses!
He organised a dinner date with friends at one of our favourite restaurants. We waited patiently for our friends to arrive and then I got a message saying they couldn't make it (which later I found out was part of the plan). We stayed and enjoyed a beautiful dinner then he took me to a lookout close by with a view of the city, where we had already shared many memories together including our first kiss. He then got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Of course I said Yes!
